The last few nights I have worked on a few last minute Valentine's for little G to give to his friends at "school" and caregivers (aka my sister in law and her mom).
When I saw these heart lollipops over at The Idea Room about a month ago I knew I had to make them! Amy is seriously creative and you can see how she made her's HERE! It's super simple too...just some mini candy canes, red chocolate, and popsicle sticks. I put them each in a candy bag, tied some red ribbon in a bow, and put a cute Valentine's sticker on the outside. I found those cute little heart cards on the dollar isle at Joann's Fabrics and stuck the lollipops through the heart. I just love how these little Valentine's turned out!
For little G's teachers, "A Miss" and "Aunt Megan" I made these adorable hand soaps with cute tags I found at My Digital Creation. I printed mine in black and white, colored and outlined the words, and embellished them with a crystal in the middle of each flower. Then I glued the tag down to some red card stock I cut to outline the tag, punched a whole, and attached to the soap bottle with some red and white ribbon I had on hand. I pulled the front label off the soap and used some stickers to decorate the bottles as well. I was "soapin" you'd be my valentine! How cute is that!
And what goes better with hand soap then a hand towel. I picked up some flour sack towels and sewed some ruffles along the bottom (it was my first attempt...so don't look to close!) I made these cute flowers with the same fabrics and then stenciled love with some fabric paint!
There are some really cute gift and party ideas at My Digital Creation, with FREE printables! Check out theses "You Knock my Socks Off" Valentines...too cute!
And if you have school aged kids, this valentine's scavenger hunt idea from the
Starfish Blog is awesome! What a fun after school treat!
I just LOVE all the creative ideas out there for Valentine's Day.
Hope you'll send someone a Valentine this year!
I'll be baking up some red velvet Valentine's cupcakes this weekend to share the LOVE!
Happy Valentine's Day!
i love them all..

Have a super week!
These are lovely hearts. I don't celebrate Valentine's day but I would be very happy if my husband gave me a heart like these.
